New Year Blizzard, Part 5

Downtown Washington, DC. The blizzard dropped about 6.9 inches of snow, which shut the city down. After living in Maine for 10 years, this was quite surprising—6 inches of snow in Maine is pretty normal and has little effect on people’s lives. Click on the image for a larger view.
